Medical decision support system for COPD and asthma screening

Abstract. Medical Information System is set of technologies and methods for planned gathering, processing, analysis, archiving and dissemination of medical data and information. The presented medical decision support system for asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease screening is designed for the needs of Center for screening and early diagnosis of bronco-obstructive diseases in "Hospital - Svoge" LTD within a project of Ministry of Economy, Energy and financed by the Japanese government to support structural reforms in Bulgaria. This article describes the development and implementation of that specialized software.
