Abstract: One of the biggest environmental problems of our time is the problem of waste management consequent risks to the environment and public health. Large part approximately 2/3 of the waste in homes and offices consist of organic waste degrading naturally. To reduce the amount of biodegradable municipal waste and improve their overall management developed various national plans and strategies for phasing quantities of biodegradable waste going to landfill. One of the main methods for achieving the goals is composting. This method greatly reduces the problem of bio-waste (organic waste) as a material suitable for maintaining the vitality of the soil - a stable humus material. In the soil returning important nutrients and so the circle of agroecosystems plant-soil closes. The purpose of this work is development of technology for home composting through two different bioreactors - static and handmade rotary bioreactor. A comparison is made between static and modified, based on final products and their physical indicators, the ability to accelerate the degradation and intensified mixing of waste in households.
